　　描述：與原始的隨機交配3T3和近交系BALB/c 3T3建株方法一樣，NIH/3T3，是從NIH Swiss小鼠胚胎培養(yǎng)物中建立的高度接觸抑制的連續(xù)細胞株。為了培育在形態(tài)學(xué)特征上更適合于進行轉(zhuǎn)化分析的亞株，建立的NIH/3T3細胞株又進行了五輪以上亞克隆。這株細胞對DNA轉(zhuǎn)化及轉(zhuǎn)染研究十分有用。檢測表明肢骨發(fā)育畸形病毒(鼠痘)陰性。
