　　4T1小鼠乳腺癌細胞

　　描述：4T1 是從410.4瘤株中未經誘變篩得的6-硫鳥嘌噙抗性細胞株。當注射到BALB/c 小鼠中時，4T1自發產生高轉移腫瘤，可轉移到肺，肝，淋巴結和大腦，同時在注射部位形成始發灶。誘導轉移時不需要摘除始發灶。 4T1細胞在BALB/c小鼠中的生長與轉移特性與人體中的乳腺癌十分相近。這種腫瘤是人VI期乳腺癌的動物模型。 4T1-誘導的腫瘤在手術后及未手術情況下轉移的動力學相近，可以用作手術后及未手術模型。跟其他腫瘤模型相比，由于4T1的抗6-硫鳥嘌噙特性，微小的轉移細胞團(少到僅僅1個)也可以在許多遠端器官中檢測到。沒必要數淋巴結或稱重器官。
